With 15+ years in journalism, I was previously Press Lead at Hugging Face, where I developed open AI initiatives for the news industry. Before that, I led teams of international, political, and daily news journalists at CBC/Radio-Canada, and served as Managing Editor at Le Devoir, driving a deep digital transformation.
I consult with newsrooms on implementing AI tools and teach digital journalism at the University of Montreal and CUNY. I've fostered a global journalist community around open-source AI, been featured as an expert in international publications, and am regularly invited to speak at industry events and lead workshops at universities.
